GENESIS
In 1998 a clubber named Ed Short, who worked at Telstar records wanted to create a mix CD to relive the Club nights he loved so much.
He wanted it to be more than the music but about how it made him feel ... MIND BODY SOUL.
This genesis green album and it's logo, space age advert (inspired by Alien the film) found an audience of dance lovers, reaching number 1 (twice) in the charts.
Over the next decade, he worked with legendary DJs to create 65 era-defining compilations across multiple dance genres.
EUPHORIA became a trusted soundtrack for a generation.
Just after Telstar folded, and some of the catalogue changed hands, the original team took a step back. CDs all but disappeared.
LEGACY
In 2025 the founding team returned to the scene. A partnership was created to reignite the legacy.
Not replicating, but reimagining with authenticity.
